Best Apollo scrapers, compared: cost per 1,000 leads, delivery and email validity

Cloud Apollo scrapers cluster at $2.20 to $4.50 per 1,000 leads, Chrome extensions cost $6 to $13 a month flat, and only a few verify emails before delivery. This page compares what each vendor publishes on its own site, with sources.

By Last updated 12 min read

Search for the best Apollo scraper and Google returns a 400-word vendor homepage, a deprecated Apify listing and a few Reddit threads. None of them lines the vendors up on the numbers a buyer needs: what 1,000 leads cost, how long delivery takes, and whether the emails are verified before you pay. This page does that from what each vendor publishes on its own site, checked on 7 October 2026.

All rival prices as published on 7 October 2026.

On paper the cheapest line is Apify’s Leads Finder at $1.50 per 1,000, but it is not an Apollo export: it queries the actor’s own database, so the rows will not match the search you built in Apollo. Among live exports, Ample Leads, ExportApollo.com and ScraperCity all publish prices under $4 per 1,000, and all three publish nothing about email validity or refunds. Apollo Exporter verifies every email before download and bills per exported row; its per-1,000 prices are on the pricing page and its measured validity and delivery figures are on the methodology page, so you can compare like with like.

How this comparison was made

No test orders have been placed with rival services yet. Every figure in the table comes from the vendor’s own website, store listing or review profile, as published on 7 October 2026, and each is linked so you can check whether it has changed. Where a vendor contradicts itself, as ExportApollo.io does with two prices on one page, both numbers are shown. Where a vendor publishes no delivery claim or verification method, the cell says so instead of guessing. Ratings are quoted with their review counts, because a 4.7 from 363 ratings and a 1.9 from 18 reviews describe very different amounts of evidence. First-hand test results, with order timestamps, row counts and a verification pass on each file, will be added on the methodology page when the tests are run, and this page will be updated the same day. Apollo Exporter’s own measured numbers live on that page too, not here, so the table only carries claims that come from vendor pages.

Apollo Exporter

Apollo Exporter is a web app. You paste an Apollo.io people- or company-search URL, and the export runs through your own logged-in Apollo session via the Apollo Exporter Chrome extension. There are no shared accounts, no credentials to hand over and no Apify actor in the chain; rows are collected page by page from the same search you see on screen, so the file matches the filters you set. Emails are verified before download, and the file arrives as CSV or XLSX with the 25 standard Apollo people fields. Billing is per exported row, with per-1,000 pricing on the pricing page and 500 free credits on sign-up. Measured validity and delivery times are published on the methodology page rather than quoted here. The trade-off is the one every in-session tool carries: the export runs inside your Apollo account, so Apollo’s terms apply to you, which the legal guide covers plainly rather than skipping.

ExportApollo.com

ExportApollo.com held the #1 organic result for “apollo scraper” on two of three page loads in our 7 October 2026 snapshot, which makes it the default choice for many buyers. It is a credit-based web app that advertises “less than $3 per 1,000 leads” and “7 min per 1k leads” on its homepage, as published on 7 October 2026, the strongest delivery claim among the cloud services. What it does not publish matters as much: exact pricing sits behind a login, the site put a CAPTCHA wall in front of a normal browser visit and returned a Cloudflare 520 error the same day, and the whole public site is a single page of roughly 350 to 400 words with no field list, no verification method and no refund terms. The service is promoted by third-party YouTube tutorials rather than by its own content. Pick it if the headline price matters most and you are comfortable creating an account before you can see what you will pay. The ExportApollo comparison sets it beside the .io service.

ExportApollo.io

ExportApollo.io is a different service from the .com, with a done-for-you order form rather than a self-serve app; whether the two share an owner could not be verified. Its page quotes $4.49 per 1,000 leads in the pricing table and “$3.49” in the page title, as published on 7 October 2026, so the real price depends on which line you believe. Orders run from 1,000 to 1,000,000 leads and the CSV is sent by email. Two terms matter more than the price. First, there is no refund once the CSV has been sent, so an unusable file is your cost. Second, the page’s “4.9” rating has no visible source or review count. The page also contradicts itself on delivery time and on whether phone numbers are included, has no H1 and still carries leftover theme text. It suits a one-off bulk order where you have checked a sample first and do not need to rerun the job later.

ScraperCity

ScraperCity sells a web app, an API and an MCP server at $0.0039 per lead, which is $3.90 per 1,000, as published on 7 October 2026. It was named in Google’s AI Overview for “apollo scraper”, and its status page was the only vendor status page found in the niche. The caveats are in its own FAQ and on Trustpilot: the $5 trial credit requires a card and auto-enrolls you into a $149 plan after seven days unless you cancel, delivery is stated as “11 to 48+ hours”, and the Trustpilot profile had three reviews when checked, with cancellation complaints among them. Its API docs also say Apollo “Filters 2.0” URLs are rejected, so some current search links need converting first; our free search URL parser exists for that job. Best for teams that want an API and can wait a day or two for files.

Ample Leads and Boomerang

Ample Leads sells subscription credits at $2.20 to $2.50 per 1,000 leads, as published on 7 October 2026, the lowest live-export price found. Its four-page site avoids the word “Apollo”, it has no organic search presence, and it is promoted on YouTube and in Skool communities. The published evidence against it is its Trustpilot profile: 1.9 out of 5 from 18 reviews, mostly non-delivery and refund complaints. A community post from October 2025 also reported that Apollo had begun targeting the service. Boomerang lists “Export Apollo” at $3.50 per 1,000 emails inside a multi-source app, but the page is client-rendered with no crawlable copy, so terms, delivery and refund rules could not be read. Both are word-of-mouth products; treat any claim not visible on the page as unverified until you have a file in hand.

EvaScrape

EvaScrape is the priciest cloud option at $9 per 1,000 leads plus $5 per 1,000 for email verification, as published on 7 October 2026, which puts a verified list at $14 per 1,000. It is also the only rival that sells verification as a line item, which at least makes the cost of clean data explicit. The site is content-heavy, with about 38 blog posts, 15 free tools and 20 comparison pages, though its own “best Apollo scraper” post declines to benchmark delivery or validity and leaves out the per-1,000 cloud vendors. EvaScrape did not appear on page one for any scraper query in our snapshot. Consider it if you want verification bundled by a single vendor and price is not the deciding factor; otherwise a cheaper service plus a separate verifier costs less for the same result.

Scrupp

Scrupp offers an extension, a cloud option and an API, priced at $29 a month per 1,000 credits on its pricing page, as published on 7 October 2026. Because email finding consumes credits, its effective cost works out to roughly $52 to $63 per 1,000 leads with emails, the highest in this table by a wide margin. Scrupp is the content benchmark in the niche, with hundreds of articles in three languages, and it is cited in most Google AI Overviews for Apollo queries, which is why it turns up in so many searches. It also publishes something no other rival does: a stated hit rate, with a work email returned for about 36% of rows by its own figure. That honesty is useful for sizing a list, and it is also why the price per usable row climbs. Best for teams already paying for Scrupp’s LinkedIn tooling.

AoLeads and the other Chrome extensions

AoLeads is the largest extension, with about 5,000 users and a 4.7 rating from 363 ratings on the Chrome Web Store, priced at $5.90 to $8.40 a month and capped at 50,000 leads per search URL, as published on 7 October 2026. Its website carries placeholder-style testimonials, and store reviews include reliability complaints. apollo.scraper.plus and the Apollo Exporter extension by scrapejob, which is unrelated to this site, are smaller single-page products; the scrapejob extension costs $6.20 to $12.60 a month with 2,500 leads per search. All three run inside your Apollo account, so a flat monthly fee can be cheap per row at volume, but they share the operational problems that fill their review pages: Apollo showing “No Results” while the extension is active, 24-hour account blocks and breakage when Apollo changes URL formats. The Chrome extension comparison covers each one in more detail.

Apify Leads Finder

Leads Finder by code_crafter is the actor most people land on after searching for the old Apify Apollo scrapers. At $1.50 per 1,000 it is the cheapest line in the table, with 48,473 total users and a 3.46 rating, as published on 7 October 2026. The catch is in the name: it searches the actor’s own lead database rather than exporting the Apollo search you built, so filters, counts and freshness will differ from what you see in Apollo. Apify removed all community Apollo actors on 22 September 2025 after legal pressure from Apollo, and the remaining listings with “Apollo” in the title are either deprecated or database products. If your workflow was built around curious_coder, code_crafter or Apollo Easy Scrape, the Apify alternative page maps each old actor to what works now.

ConnectSafely

ConnectSafely gives away a free Apollo scraper extension, with about 602 users, as a lead magnet for its main product, as published on 7 October 2026. Its page is the longest in the niche at roughly 4,970 words with FAQ, HowTo and SoftwareApplication schema, which is why it appeared on page one for 17 of the 23 queries we checked, though rarely in the top three. The extension runs on your own Apollo account, and the page itself warns that extraction is restricted by Apollo’s terms. There is no verification step, no stated cap and no support commitment, which is fair for a free tool. It is the right starting point if you want to test the extension approach at zero cost before paying anyone, and a reasonable permanent choice for occasional small lists.

What Reddit users report

The query “best apollo scraper reddit” draws 210 US searches a month, more than “best apollo scraper” itself, and Reddit holds six of the nine results. The threads Google ranks are “Apollo Scraping” in r/LeadGeneration, “Apollo Scraping” in r/automation and “Apollo leads scraping” in r/AskMarketing, each with 7 to 30 comments and most of them one to two years old. We have not quoted them here, because the threads were read only by title and snippet during the research, and because the recommendations in them predate the Apify removal, so some of the tools named no longer exist. What recurs across Reddit, Trustpilot and Chrome Web Store reviews is operational rather than about features: orders stuck for a week, surprise subscriptions, extensions that trigger “No Results”, 24-hour blocks and lists that come back half invalid. Those complaints are the checklist this page is organized around.

Extension or cloud: the trade-offs

Chrome extensions run inside your logged-in Apollo session. They are cheap per row at volume, you see the data as it is collected and nothing leaves your account, but every action is visible to Apollo, which is where the “No Results” and block reports come from, and the tool stops working whenever Apollo changes its interface. Cloud services take a search URL and return a file. They are convenient and the vendor absorbs the breakage, but you cannot verify how the rows were obtained, delivery can take hours or days, and the lowest-priced services publish nothing about verification or refunds. Apollo Exporter sits between the two: a web app that runs the export through your own session via a bridge extension, so there are no shared accounts or handed-over credentials, with verification before download and a CSV or XLSX at the end. The Apollo Exporter product page walks through that flow step by step.

How to choose

Start from what the list is for. For a one-off list where price is everything, ExportApollo.com or Ample Leads publish the lowest numbers; budget for a separate verification pass and accept that refund terms are not published. For an API or MCP integration, ScraperCity is the only cloud rival that documents one, with the card-on-file and 48-hour caveats above. For occasional small pulls at no cost, ConnectSafely’s free extension or AoLeads at a few dollars a month will do, if your account can tolerate the block risk. For verified emails in a file that matches the search you built, run through your own session with per-row billing and a 100-row trial, use Apollo Exporter and read the methodology page before you buy. Whatever you pick, read the export limits guide first, because Apollo’s page cap shapes what every tool can return.

Questions people ask

What is the best Apollo scraper?

It depends on whether you need verified emails, an API or the lowest headline price. Cloud exports publish $2.20 to $4.49 per 1,000 leads and only some verify emails before delivery; the table on this page compares them on published figures.

What do Reddit users say is the best Apollo scraper?

The threads Google ranks in r/LeadGeneration, r/automation and r/AskMarketing recommend a mix of extensions and Apify actors, but most are one to two years old and predate Apify's September 2025 removal, so several tools named there no longer exist.

Is there a free Apollo scraper?

ConnectSafely gives away a free extension with about 602 users, and Apollo Exporter offers 500 free credits on sign-up. Free tools run inside your Apollo account and carry the same block risk as paid extensions.

Which Apollo scraper is cheapest per 1,000 leads?

Apify's Leads Finder lists $1.50 per 1,000 but queries its own database, not Apollo. Among live exports, Ample Leads publishes $2.20 to $2.50 and ExportApollo.com says less than $3, neither with a published verification step.

Will an Apollo scraper get my account banned?

Extension reviews report No Results screens and 24-hour blocks, and Apollo's terms prohibit automated extraction. Any tool that runs in your session carries that risk; the legal guide explains what the terms say.

Has Apollo Exporter tested the rival scrapers?

Not yet. This page compares published prices, delivery claims and refund terms with sources. First-hand test orders will be added on the methodology page when they are run.
